Blackship Studios is a digital media production based in Germany with headquarter in Munich. With more than 12 years experience, we have expanded our competencies in the areas of animation, design and film, stretching towards digital services e.g. app, web and game development. We are a young international team peppered with highly qualified creatives, and technicians. Our approach is holistic and contrary to the widespread specialization of most agencies and service providers, we consciously pursue an interdisciplinary approach.
We are firmly convinced that exceptionally good work in the creative as well as technical area can only come about with a broad knowledge in various disciplines and thus call up the full potential of synergetic processes. Technology is not just a static tool that you learn and use in the same way, but first and foremost a constantly transforming skill that is in the process of adapting with other tools. We do not see software as a tool that defines itself, but rather as an element that integrates and connects with other tools. Specifically, this means that our processes, be it in the cinematic area, in animation or in app development, are based on similar, sometimes identical software and skillsets.
The term "thinking outside the box'' is widespread but often misunderstood. Nevertheless for us this way of thinking underlines our vision of a universally adaptive work process that knows no content or technical limits. Ultimately, as a team, we were able to master every challenge, no matter how difficult, and solved every problem. Therein lies the chance to develop further and to reach a new level with our customers. Specialized work within the scope of the possibilities is in fact just too boring for us.
Another important aspect of our work is the personal exchange with our partners and clients. Apart from professionalism and high-quality work, the magic of successful cooperation lies in human exchange. We don't see ourselves as a service provider in the traditional sense. There is no limited availability, no interns who are put on low budget projects and there is no business language.
There are hundreds of providers in the creative field and why should you choose us? Because we offer the best price, have realized the coolest projects or offer the best coffee in town? The simple answer is. Because we deliver the best quality. But honestly. That's nonsense to say before we even worked together. Nevertheless one thing we like to promise in advance. When we work together, it's not just about business and money. We are all about personal and professional development. Because we don't want to waste our and your time. And that requires good vibrations.

With a strong focus on moving images, we have refined our skills over the years, particularly in the areas of animation, games and 3D visualization. The fields of user interface design, app development and interactive applications as well as AR and VR have been expanded, as exciting areas of overlap have opened up in the context of our software developments.
We are always looking for new partnerships and see ourselves as a cosmopolitan platform for creative exchange. No matter where you are and no matter what educational background you have, we are thrilled to hear from you and would be happy to exchange ideas with you about a possible collaboration.
In recent years we have been able to implement fantastic projects with exciting people, which have enriched us and our projects and have led to long-term relationships. Digital and virtual communication have become more and more common and we see this as an opportunity in the work process and are open to cross-media cooperation.
Write us an email or contact us via our social media channels. We look forward to your story and hopefully something unique will emerge in the further exchange.
Don't hesitate and just write us what's on your mind. We are happy to hear your story and will get back to you as quick as possible.
